MLBB

 MOBILE LEGEND BANG:BANG

MLBB is a popular multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) mobile game developed by Moonton, where two teams of five players compete to destroy the enemy’s base.

There are 5 lanes and they are;

1.EXP LANE

  • Position: This lane can be either Top or  Bottom Lane, but it is usually on Top lane
  • Purpose:
    • EXP Heroes focus on farming minions in the lane to gain experience and get ahead in levels.
    • These heroes usually stay in the lane to 1v1 with the enemy hero and try to dominate the lane through superior experience gain.
    • EXP Heroes often become the frontliners in team fights due to their increased durability and damage after leveling up.
    • The goal is to hit level 4 quickly, then level up to level 8–10 to get the core items and power spikes.

2. Gold Lane

  • Position: This lane is usually located in the Bottom Lane.
  • Role: The Gold Lane is dedicated to marksmen (MM) or ADCs (Attack Damage Carries).
  • Purpose:
    • The Gold Lane is where heroes who rely on gold income spend their early game. The idea is to farm gold from minions, jungle monsters, and turrets to build up the core damage items needed for the late game.
    • Marksmen usually go here because they need gold to scale up and become powerful in the late game.
    • This lane is
    •  often 2v2, with a marksman paired with a support hero to keep them safe while they farm.
    • The hero in this lane doesn't focus on gaining experience as quickly but instead aims to farm gold efficiently.
3.MID LANE

(Mid Lane) is usually taken by mages, assassins, or support heroes, and it’s the lane that both sides of the map contest most frequently.
  • Role: The Mid Lane is considered a neutral EXP lane, where heroes typically try to gain both gold and experience.
  • Purpose:
    • Mid Lane heroes often rotate across the map, assisting with ganks, securing objectives (Turtle, Lord), and controlling map vision.
    • Heroes here tend to reach level 4 faster and also participate in team fights earlier than those in the other lanes.
    • The Mid Lane plays a central role in controlling the pace of the game because it’s the shortest path for rotations and ganking.

4.JUNGLE LANE

Position:

  • The Jungle position doesn’t belong to any specific lane but rather the neutral Jungle camps scattered around the map. The Jungler rotates between these camps and lanes to farm, gank, and secure objectives.

Role:

  • The Jungler is responsible for clearing jungle camps for gold and experience, ganking lanes to provide support, and securing important map objectives (such as Turtle, Lord, and Buffs). They play a critical role in controlling the pace of the game through early ganks and mid-game objectives.

Purpose:

  • Farm the Jungle: The Jungler’s primary focus is to efficiently clear neutral jungle camps for experience and gold to level up quickly and get stronger. They need to be constantly farming to avoid falling behind and to ensure they can assist their team when needed.
  • Gank and Assist: Junglers rotate to lanes to provide surprise attacks (ganks) on the enemy, helping secure kills or assists. The goal is to create pressure and open up opportunities for other teammates, especially in the Gold Lane or EXP Lane.
  • Objective Control: The Jungler is key in securing important objectives like the Turtle (early game) and Lord (mid to late game). Controlling these objectives gives the team a significant advantage in terms of gold, map control, and momentum.
  • Map Control and Awareness: Beyond farming, the Jungler must maintain map awareness, providing vision and counter-ganks. They need to keep track of enemy movements and avoid being caught by the enemy Jungler.
